Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Ford's family and friends. Please seek comfort in knowing that her impact on our lives will be lasting as we pass on the lessons we learned from her to our kids. Our current/future kids will be the model of intelligence, charm, toughness, poise, and wit thanks to Ms. Ford. She was a teacher of the heart, not the books.

Thinking of Marilyn's families during this time. She was a fine lady that was well respected by all that knew her.
May her families be comforted by her Lord in the days ahead.

To The Ford Family,
It is with my deepest condolences to hear of the sudden passing of a dear friend and fellow Columbus High Alumnus. I will never forget her radiant smile and her always demanding perfection for what ever task she embarked upon. She will be sadly missed, but always remembered.
God Bless!

To Miss Ford's family, I had the pleasure of getting to know her when I relocated back to Dillon and joined the Criterion Club in 2012. I truly enjoyed her spirit and her sisterly camaraderie. I'll miss seeing she and Miss Brenda Arnette and calling them "My Lake View Coalition". Godspeed to Ms. Ford's family, friends and my sisters from the Criterion Club.
