Vicky Genwright Obituary

~ The Obituary ~

    Vicky Carol Genwright was born August 29, 1966, to Early Mae Worley Genwright and the late Alex Davis in Horry County, South Carolina.

    She was raised in Mullins, South Carolina and graduate from Mullins High School.

    Vicky met the love of her life, Minister Benny Genwright and they were married on May 23, 1987, through this union, they had four children.

    She accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on October 30, 1988 at Heimbach Apostolic Church in Germany and received the gift of the Holy Ghost not many days thereafter. Vicky traveled back to the United States and joined the Progressive Church of our Lord Jesus Christ under the leadership of Elder Roy Brockington.

    Vicky transitioned on February 14, 2025 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Florence, South Carolina.

    Preceding her in death, her father: Alex Davis; one sister: Bulene Jenkins; brothers: Michael Worley, Alex and Anthony Davis and Verder Genwright.

    To know Vicky was to love her. She was a sweet, soft-spoken person who was strong and had a spirit of endurance.

    To cherish memories, her husband Benny Genwright; mother: Early Mae Genwright; daughters: Glenda (Maurice) Brooks, Daphanie Genwright and Tiffany Clark; son: Brian (Annie) Genwright; sisters: Brenda Gill, Angela (Carl) Brantley and Teresa Genwright; brother: Christopher (Denise) Davis; bonus sister: Keaisa Bethea; eleven grandchildren including two great-grandchildren raised in the home; Karmen and Kobe Genwright; four aunts, one uncle, sister-in-law: Tasha Fore; brothers-in-law: Donald (Telisa) Genwright and Ronald (Latonya) Genwright; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
