Obituary

     Sister Remma Bethea Bellamy, daughter of the late Willie Worley and Bertha Bethea Worley, was born on August 25, 1955 in Marion County, South Carolina. She was united in marriage to the late Othis Davis Bellamy. She departed this life on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at home in Lake View, South Carolina.

     Sister Remma Bethea Bellamy received her education in Lake View Public Schools and graduated from Mullins High School.

     She was an active member of Union African Methodist Episcopal Church. Sister Remma Bethea Bellamy served in several capacities at church; Usher Board, Adult Sunday School Teacher and as a member of the Women’s Missionary Society.

     Sister Remma Bethea Bellamy leaves to cherish her memories: three children: Steven (Desiree) Bethea of Dillon, SC, Bryan Bethea of Lake View, SC and Dennis Bethea of Dillon, SC; five grandchildren: Remma Bethea, Christopher Lucky, Steven Bethea, Jr., Kimberly Bethea and Jeremiah Johnson; two great-grandchildren: Serenity McRae and Heavenly Bethea; one sister: Willie Mae (Roy) Fleming of Mullins, SC; two brothers: Bobby Bethea of Mullins, SC and Russell (Darlene) Bethea of Columbia, SC; one half-sister: Brenda Pina of Boston, MA and a host of nieces and nephews.
