Remiah Brown

Remiah Brown, Jr., the son of the late Remiah Brown, Sr. and the late DesmaYounge Brown. He was born March 18, 1957 in Cross, South Carolina (Berkley County). 

    He graduated from the Green Sea Floyds High School in Nichols, South Carolina and shortly after graduation he joined the United States Army. While serving his country, he receive several awards and received an honorable discharge.

    He was a member of Jesus Only Church in Marion, South Carolina and was baptized in Jesus name. He ministered throughout the city.

    Siblings that preceded him in death, two sisters: Dorothy Dixon Gearld and Ivey Dixon; four brothers: Herbert Dixon, Horace (Susie) Brown, Jasper Brown and Leon Brown.

    He leaves to cherish his memories, one son: Kenya Oliver of Nichols, SC; four grandchildren: Leqeuint Davis, Kenyi Davis, Ayane Oliver and Amyaih Oliver; five brothers: Pastor Silas (Estell) Brown of Mullins, SC, Jesse Brown of Nichols, SC, Leon Dixon of Chicago, IL, Edward Dixon and Vegree Brown of Miami, FL; three sisters: Betty (Johnnie) Gause of Sumter, SC, Mable (Larry) Oliver of Galivants Ferry, SC, Julia Dixon of Irvington, NJ; sister-in-law: Lola Brown of Cross, SC and a host of nieces and nephews.
