Paul Moore

~ The Obituary ~

    Paul Moore, Jr. was born on August 14, 1941 in Britton’s Neck, South Carolina to the late Jimmy and Luthelma Moore. He was the middle of three children, Mr. Preston Moore and one preceded by death, Mrs. Maggie Rogers. Paulattended and graduated from Bethel High School in 1959. Paulmarried his high school sweetheart, the late Vermell Moore and relocated to Brooklyn, New York where he started working at Ben Forman & Sons Silverware Manufacturing until his retirement, 40 + years later.

    Paul leaves behind his children, Angelo Moore, Vercell Moore Edwards and Kim Smith; two wonderful grandchildren, Shantell Moore and Delaysha Smith and host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his memory.

    Our flesh is temporary but the memories we leave behind are timeless. Paul Moore, Jr.enjoyed quietly sitting on the porch, watching sports with a beer and a Black & Mild. He was a proud man who crafted memories and stuck to his morals. Although stubborn, he was known for being a family man and kept life simple. He was a man of style, clean cut, with classy hats, polished suits and fancy cars. Paul Moore, Jr.will truly be missed by his family and friends.
