Mrs. Patricia Ann Evans
Our beloved sister, Patricia Ann Evans, was born on October 14, 1958 in Loris, S.C. to the late Martha and Pink Gause Sr. She departed this life on Thursday, November 03, 2022.
Patricia was educated in the Horry County School System and graduated from Green Sea Floyds High School. She obtained her high school diploma in 1978.
She was employed by the hotel industry as a room attendant for a number of years. She also worked for several years at Anvil T-Shirt factory.
She was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Cleve Johnson.
She was a devoted and longtime member of the High Hill Baptist Church until she became ill and was no longer able to attend. She served as a member of the choir and was a part of the hospitality ministry.
She was married to the late Sammy Lee Evans and to this union, one child was born, Deandre’ Sherman Evans. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother, Annie Bell Livingston. Two Brothers, Pink Gause Jr. and Sylvester Gause. Two Sisters, Lillie Mae Gowan and Evelyn Savage and five Brother-In-Laws, Joseph Evans, Morris Evans, Junior Evans, Will Evans, and Robert Evans. Two Sister-In-Laws, Mary Ann Evans and Queen Evans. One Grandson, Markel Evans.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Deandre’Sherman Evans of Nichols, S.C., Three Brothers: Jimmy Lee Gause Sr. of Fayetteville, N.C., Wade Gause, of London KY, Dr. Tim (Doris) Gause of Waukegan, IL. One Sister: Rose Marie Staley of Summerton S.C. Three Sister-In-Laws: Clara Evans, Sally Ann Evans, Johnnie Mae Evans all of Santee, S.C., Four Aunts: Esterling Pope of Loris S.C., Sylvia Hardy of Trenton N.J., Clara Livingston of Trenton N.J. and Doretha Livingston of Nichols, S.C., One Grand Daughter, La’tiffah Evans, One Great-GrandSon, Preston Evans and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, which includes the staff at Genesis Nursing Home in Pembroke N.C.
