~ The Obituary ~

    Monica M. Campbell, the daughter of Mrs. Ruth Mae Sands and the late Mr. Lamont Quinitchett was born on February 10, 1973 in Long Island, New York. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the McLeod Loris Healthcare System. 

    Monica attended the public school system in Long Island, New York. After spending a lot of her life in New York, she returned to South Carolina where she met and married her husband Levern Campbell, Jr. whom she has spent the past 19 years of her life with. Monicawas such a loving, sweet, caring person with such a soft spoken voice. If you knew Monica, you know she had a great love for all her dogs. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but most of all by her husband. 

    Those left to mourn her passing are her loving husband, Levern Campbell, Jr. of the home; her mother: Ruth Mae Sands of Whiteville, NC; two sisters: Lee (Mary Ann) Rodriguez of Loris, SC and Paula Wilds of California; her mother-in-law: Edith George of Nichols, SC; two adopted sons: Kenny Humphery and Jeremy Gerald both of Charleston, SC; two step children: Luwanda George of Tabor City, NC and Triston Campbell of Loris, SC; eight step grandchildren: Jada, Essence, Elijah, Steven, Sencere, Kayden, Emree and Eli; seven sisters-in-law: Lula (David) Timmons, Eva Luckey, Juanita (Lee) Crawford, Phyllis (Maurice) Wright, Doris (Tim) Bessant, Kimberly Campbell and Perina Phhillips; nine brothers-in-law: Bernard (Carissa) Campbell, Tonnie (Gertha) Campbell, Levon (Sabrina) Campbell, Vernie (Judy) Bessant, Mackie (Vanessa) Campbell, Marshall Campbell, Dan Phillips, Demetris Phillips and Rocky Phillips; one brother-in-law preceded her in death: Ronnie (Carrie) Campbell; four aunts; eight uncles; three special nieces: Jalisa Davis, Jaquana Davis and Jamalia York; special uncle: Frank McNeil; special friend: Mary Ann Rodriquez and a host of other family members, friends, and cousins whom will miss her dearly.
