Minnie Blackwell

~ The Obituary ~

     Minnie R. Blackwell was the daughter of the late Joe C. Harps and the late Eva J. Harps was born June 14, 1932 in Mullins, South Carolina.

     She attended and graduated from Palmetto High School. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Walter Blackwell of Mullins, South Carolina and they have one daughter Jo-Ann Blackwell of Brooklyn, New York.

     Minnie and Walter Blackwell relocated to Brooklyn, New York where she worked as a Child Care Aide at a day care center for over 20 years. She worked with young children.

     She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving daughter: Jo-Ann Blackwell; nieces: Malanea Harps, April Harps; Nephews: Billy C. Harps, Larry Blackwell and special cousin: Mattie Murray.
