     Ms. Mary Kate Worley McNeil, was born April 14, 1948 in Marion, South Carolina to the parentage of the late Mr. Edgar and Mrs. Tat Worley. She transitioned on Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016 after courageously battling an illness.

     Mary Kate graduated from Columbus High School, Lake View, South Carolina in the class of 1965 where she participated as a majorette on the school band and in various other activities.

     Mary Kate traveled to Newark, New Jersey where she gained employment in the Manufacturing Industry. After several years of city living, Mary Kate returned home to her beloved Lake View, South Carolina and settled in as a homemaker. Mary Kate was a very friendly person who genuinely loved her family and friends. She had an award winning smile that captured her radiant personality.

     The treasured family members that predeceased Mary Kate are her parents, brothers: Will Worley, Archie Worley and B.C. Worley; Daughter: Shelley Ann McNeil.

     Mary Kate leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Bruce Jr., Christopher, Keith, Draper and Terrance McNeil; daughter: Nyema McNeil; her precious grandchildren: Kiara, Shelly, Sannai, Isaiah, Keante McNeil and J.D. Bethea; six adorable great grandchildren; sister: Sylvia Kate Worley of New Jersey; nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and friends.
