    Mother Mary Willow Platt Evans daughter of the late Luther and Annie Lee Gause Platt transitioned into eternal rest Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 2:00 AM after a brief illness at her home.

    Mother Mary was born August 3, 1935 in Whiteville, NC and attended the public schools there. She resided in Brooklyn, New York and Stockbridge, Georgia for a number of years. Mother Mary worked for Dr. Fields for many years in New York City.
