Margaret Canty Obituary

Our Heavenly Father, who is too wise to make a mistake and too benevolent to be unkind, brought His Angel home to be a part of His Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Mother Margaret Coleman Canty was born on January 2, 1937 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina.

    She was educated in the public schools of Mullins, South Carolina. She was employed by Anvil Knitwear of Mullins, South Carolina. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church and served as a faithful member of the Sacrifice Choir.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, brother: George Washington; son: Bennie O. and Grandson: Bennie A., Jr.

    Mother Canty leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Myron (Annette) Cantyof the home, Debbie (deceased son-in-law Bernest) Moore of Wilmington, NC, Cheryl (Sinclair) Davis, of Britton’s Neck, SC, and Norwood (Myra) Canty of Marion, SC; one daughter-in-law: Deloris Anderson of Mullins, SC and one sister-in-law: Pearl Washington of Lake City, SC; ten grandchildren: Marquita Anderson, Mario Canty, Maren Canty, Mariel Canty, Franklin Davis, Alexis Davis, BernestMoore, Jr., Norica Oya, Kyrica Wilson, Jarvis Canty; thirteen great-grandchildren: My’lanCanty, My’lek Canty, My’Kai, Nyla Canty, Shemar Canty, Delania Davis, Lashawn
