Mable Campbell

The Obituary ~

    Mable Campbell was born on February 22, 1952, in Mullins, South Carolina to the late Velma Jordan Wheeler. She departed this life December 21, 2024, surrounded by family after a brief illness. 

    Mable accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in her early adult years. She grew up in Mill Creek Baptist Church and was a member all of her childhood years and practically all her adult years. She moved her membership from Mill Creek Baptist Church and joined True Evidence Ministries in 2011 and remained a faithful member until April 2022.

    She attended Palmetto High School where she graduated with the Class of 1970. She was retired and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her spare time. She also loved attending church gatherings as well as preparing and cooking meals for her family.

    Mable was preceded in death by both parents and three siblings: Albert Lee Gore, Emerson Elijah Jordan and Carolyn Ruth Jordan Gerald. 

    She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories two daughters: Michelle Gore and Velmetria Campbell both of Mullins, SC; four grandchildren: Valarie Campbell, Marquis Gore, Darius Gerald and Riyan Gore; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Annie Bolden, Hattie (Elbert) Anthony and Gloria (Howard) Bethea all of Marion County, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
