Linda Small Obituary

~ The Obituary ~

    Linda Small, better known as Linda Faye,the daughter of the Late Rovena and Willie Small was born on February 12, 1956, in Horry County. She answered the call of her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 15, 2021. 

    Linda Faye was a very loving and caringperson with a heart of gold. She would give you the shirt off her back if need be. Lindanever met a stranger; she would ask one question when she first met you and you would have a friend by the time you got ready to depart. Linda Faye enjoyed cooking and baking and didn’t mind sharing what she had with anybody.

    Linda attended the public schools of Horry County graduating with the class of 1977. She was converted at an early age and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church. She served on the Pastor’s Aide Board, Usher Board, and the Kitchen Committee. Linda was employed with Dixie Café, Mullins Leaf, and Pizza Shack of Mullins for many years. She then took her talents to the Yachtsman Resort where she worked for 30+ years until her health declined. 

    Linda was preceded in death by her twin daughters: Lennette and Earnette Small; her Mother: Rovena Small; her father Willie Small; brother: Johnny Lee Small; sister: Dorthy Ann Genwright and a special Aunt: Inez Green. 

    She leaves to cherish her memories, her son: Christopher (Candra) Small; her loving grandchildren: Jayla Small, Kaori Crawford, and Jymere Grissett; two sisters: Gloria Small of Green Sea, SC and Joyce (Melvin) Blakely of Nichols, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
