Mrs. Latashia V. Ford Bachman was born to the late Rupert Ford and the late Eunice Mae Ford on October 13, 1944. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, August 10, 2023. She was reared by her late grandparents, Jenkins and Bessie Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband, grandparents, father, mother, and brother, Julius Odom.
Mrs. Latashia V. Ford Bachman received her formal education at Columbus High School in Lake View, SC. After graduating from high school, Latashia moved to Columbia, SC. She met and married the love of her life, Mr. Delmar Bachman. She worked for AT&T and retired after over 30 years of service.
Mrs. Latashia V. Ford Bachman accepted Christ at a very early age and became a member of Union AME Church. She knew and loved the Lord. So, she visited many surrounding churches in the Lake View community and Columbia, SC.
Mrs. Latashia V. Ford Bachman leaves to cherish fond memories, her stepmother:Talphaline Ford; her aunt, reared as a sister: Willie Dell Ford; two sisters: Patricia (Bruce) McNeil and Dr. Juritsa Ford; three brothers:Stanley (Mary) Ford, Daryl (Patricia) Ford, and Sean (Ashley) Ford; two nieces: Nyema(Antoine) McDaniel and Beverly (Jerome) Horton; four cousins: Joanne (Bill) Edney, Melvedean (Authur) Tucker, Quanda (Herman) Anthony, and Eddie Jr. (Judlyn) Ford – special nephews Raekwon, Caleb, Nicholas, Janelle, and Nathaniel – two special cousins Brenda Greene Arnette and Tamara Nance-Bethea – and a host of other family and friends.
