Though she faced many trials, she never allowed hardship to steal her light. In the early hours of the morning on December 8, 2025, God called and Keasia answered.
Keasia Bethea affectionately known as “Bud”, was born on December 24, 1997 in Mullins, South Carolina to Teresa Genwright and Kewaski Bethea.
Keasia attended public school in Marion County and graduated from Mullins High School Class of 2017 and went on to attend Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology and Beauty.
Keasia attended Mt. Ararat Church where she later served as a praise dancer. Keasiaenjoyed reading, writing, drawing and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She will be remembered for her smile and her love for her Mt. Ararat Church Family.
Keasia was preceded in death by her grandfather: Vender Genwright, four uncles and two aunts.
Keasia leaves to celebrate her legacy her daughter: Heaven Wolfe; her mother: Teresa Genwright and father: Kewaski Bethea; brothers: Ja’quan Boatwright of the home, Kewaski, Jr. and Dewaski Bethea both of Huntersville, NC, daius Gerald of Kingston, NC; maternal grandmother: Early M. Genwright of Mullins, SC; paternal grandmother: Linda (Phillip) Crawford of Hope Mills, NC; great-grandmother: Helen Phillips; paternal grandfather: Leroy (Ruth) Owens of Mullins, SC; aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
To our light in heaven; heaven gained an angel, and we lost the piece of hour heart that only He could carry. We find comfort knowing that that piece is wrapped in His light, waiting for the day we are whole again!
