James Gerald

     On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, the Master called our loved one James Walter Gerald to eternal rest at the Carolina Hospital, Florence, SC.

     Brother James Walter Gerald was born September 11, 1940 to the late Deacon Walter and Lucille Gerald. He was educated in the Public Schools of Marion County.

     Brother Gerald accepted Christ at an early age and joined Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, Mullins, SC. James was married to Daisy Owens.

     Brother Gerald was a humble man, a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Brother Gerald served as a faithful Trustee at Nazarene.

     Brother Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Deacon Walter and & Lucille Gerald; his sister Mrs. Ester Lee Lewis.

     Brother Gerald leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Daisy Gerald of the home; three children: Gloria Legette of Mullins, SC, James (Teresa) Gerald of Fort Campbell, KY, and Tammy Denise Ceo of Winter Park, FL; two grands: James & Jamall Ceo of the home; five brothers: Henry (Polly) Gerald of Marion, SC, Reverend Thurman (Ellen) Gerald and Oscar (Mary) Gerald both of Mullins, SC, Reverend Dan (Brenda) Gerald of Marion, SC, Johnnie (Fannie) Smith of New York; one sister: Evangelist Gloria (Elder James) Carmichael of Williamstown, NJ; five aunts: Fleetwood McClain of Philadelphia, PA, Ruth Arnette of Fairmount, NC; Malvolia Brown of Mullins, SC, Retha Arnette of Charlotte, NC, and Ruth Allen, Portsmith, VA; ten sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law; twelve grandchildren; two great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Also his best friend James Lewis of Mullins, SC.
