Gloria Regina Wilds (affectionately called Glory) was born in Marion, South Carolina on January 29, 1962 to the late Geanene Wilds Gardner and James Muhammed. Glory was reared in Nichols, South Carolina by the late Eugenia Floyd (great-grandmother), the late Lois Timmons (great-aunt whom she called Momma).and the late Donald Timmons (great-uncle whom she called Daddy). Glorydeparted this earthly life on Friday, October 20, 2023 at MUSC Hospital in Florence, South Carolina.
Glory accepted Christ at a very early age and became a member of First Friendship Baptist Church. She also recommitted her life, confessed and professed the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on October 11, 2023.
Gloria Wilds leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her loving memory three sons: Brian Wilds, Courtney Wilds and Rodney Wilds; one daughter: Cynthia Wilds; nine grandchildren: Brian Wilds Jr., JyquariusWilds, Harmony Sullivan, Chad Wilds, Chayce Wilds, Malik Wilds, Ranaja Wilds, Jadyn Sherman, and Jordyn Sherman; father James Muhammad (Annette); stepfather: Lee Gardner; four sisters: Anna Way Platt (Chester), Paula Wilds Harris, Evon Bland, and Belinda Wallace; one brother: Milton Bland; two aunts: Katherine Barboza and Helen Quarrels (Ray); one uncle: Donald.
