Flora Edwards

Flora M. Edwards, the daughter of the late Robert Keith and the late Hattie Mae Keith, was born March 22, 1942 in Horry County, South Carolina. She departed this life on July 13,
2025.  

She was a graduate of Terrells Bay High School.

On March, 24, 1963 she married Leroy Edwards of Marion, South Carolina. They were blessed with five children.

Shortly after her marriage to Leroy, Flora joined Wise Chapel AME Church, and was an active member until her health declined. Over the years she served on the Stewardess Board, sang on the choir, and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society.

She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hattie Keith; her husband: Leroy Edwards; three siblings: Robert Keith, Jr., Claretha Keith, and James Moses Keith.

Flora leaves to cherish her memory, one son: Keith “Robin” Edwards (Eleanor); four daughters: Renae “Cindy” Elbourne (Cally), Tonia D. Clark, Floretta “Flo” Edwards, and
Telisha “Tee” Edwards; nine grandchildren: Calisha, Rashida, Mercedes, Tanisha, Keith, Jr., Alexis, Delsin, Jasmine and Zhu Zhu; four great-grandchildren; Maeyanie, Keiyana, Camyiah and Josiah and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
