Dorlisa M Bacchus

    Dorlisa Bacchus was born on September 26, 1972 to Robert L. and Dorothy L. Douglas. Dorlisa departed this earthly life on Monday, December 25, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina.

    Dorlisa attended Marlboro County High School, Bennettsville, South Carolina. She furthered her education at South Carolina State University and Midlands Technical College. She was employed by Nucor Building Systems as an Engineering Administrator for nearly six years. As an entrepreneur, Dorlisa was most passionate about owning her own business, Tender Kisses Bakery, where she mastered her skills.

    Dorlisa was a member of First Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina under the leadership of Reverend Blakely N. Scott.

    Dorlisa was preceded in death by her brother: Roderick Douglas.

    Dorlisa leaves to cherish fond and loving memories her loving and devoted husband: Sid C. Bacchus of the home; son: Sid C. “Deuce” Bacchus, II; parents: Robert and Dorothy Douglas of Bennettsville, SC; brothers: Leith (Candita) Douglas and David Douglas; sisters: Sharon Covington and Kimberly Douglas; mother-in-law: Juanita Bacchus; sisters-in-law: Deciera Gause and Kimberly (Stanley) Brown; a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
