~ The Obituary ~
Dock J. Campbell, born to the late Willie and Lula Campbell on August 28, 1933. He attended the public schools of Marion County. He worked in many different types of jobs. He worked at Marvel Lighting for many years.
On October 1, 2016 he was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Preceding him death was, two brothers: Willie Campbell, Jr. and Joe Campbell; a daughter: Doris Ann Frieson.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Pauline Campbell of Mullins, SC; six children: Beatrice Campbell (Roy) Brockington of Mullins, SC; Ben (Patricia) Campbell, Marvin Campbell of Washington, DC, Brenda Campbell (Ricky) Flemming, and Curtis (Wanda) Campbell both of Mullins, SC and Anthony (Kay) Campbell of Loris, SC and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Marion Davis of Marion, SC; two brothers-in-law: Willie C. Davis of Marion, SC and Isaac Smith of Fayetteville, NC; a special friend: Maria Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
