Dene F Reaves

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.                                                   Psalm 91:1

     On May 22, 2015 God called his angel Willer Dene Ford home. Willer Dene was born on August 9, 1934 in Marion County to the late Bessie and Ed Watson. She attended school in Marion County.

     In 1955 she was united in marriage to the late James “Papa Jim” Ford to their union one daughter was born, Sharon Ford.

     She worked for Sopako and English Park Hospital until she retired. She attended The House of God from a young child until her health started to fail. She was a member of the Gospel Choir.

     She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter: Sharon F. Carmichael; three grandchildren: Shanisha Ford and Ja’Shayla Ford, one preceded her in death, Quavis Ford; two great-grandchildren: Ja’Shawn (Juice) Ford and Ja’Mell Harris; two god-daughters: Evangelist Marilyn Tucker and Annette Evans; special grands: Tamika Tucker, Anthony Tucker and Janice Evans; a host a nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank her nurses at Sunny Acres that took care of her during her stay: Vicki Johnson, Megan, Tara, Mary Godbolt, Lori and a very special nurse Ms. Carolyn Smith.
