Mr. Cornelius Johnson was born to Mr. Clemson Johnson and Mrs. Hattie Stackhouse in Horry County, South Carolina on December 9, 1939.
Mr. Cornelius Johnson’s family moved to New York when he was still a little child. He attended and graduated from Morris High School in Bronx, New York. After his graduation he was employed by Bronx State Hospital and Rockland State Hospital as a Social Worker. After his retirement he moved back to Horry County, his childhood nesting place, until he was called home on February 5, 2020.
Mr. Cornelius Johnsoni s survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He had a love for pets, dogs, and his community. He was a unique, strong willed individual. He will be missed.
