Charles Carmichael Lacy departed this life on February 15, 2023 at his home at 9:26 am.
Charles was born on February 17, 1953 to the late Geneva and Johnny Mack Lacy from Zion, South Carolina.
He had three brothers: James Lacy, Willie Mack Lacy and Nathan Lacy; one sister: Bessie Timmons all preceded him in death.
At the tender age of 17, Charleslearned how to be an auto mechanic. He worked at Harold Lambert for years. He knew how to work on any type of automobile. He received the Diploma of Advancement in July 1987 by Distributing System of America.
He was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Zion AME Church in Zion, South Carolina.
He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 38 years, Glenora Lacy; three daughters: Iris Bridges, Kimberly Nichols and Naketa Lacy; four sons: Lavore Byrd, Deon Whittaker, Darryl Clark, Charles Carmichael Lacy, II; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
