    Bobby Joe Bethea, son of the late Willie Worley and Bertha Bethea Worley was born on January 2, 1967. He departed this life on November 21, 2024 at home in Nichols, South Carolina.

    Bobby Joe received his education in Lake View High School. He was baptized by Elder Brockington at Progressive Church. He will be remembered most for his hard work, caring spirit and sense of humor.

    Bobby was preceded in death by his sister Remma Bethea and brother Willie Jr.

    He is survived by his children Jatavia and Jasamine Bethea of Mullins, SC and Felicia Bethea of Lithonia, GA; sister: Willie Mae Flemming of Mullins, SC and brother: Russell (Darlene) Bethea of Columbia, SC; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He leaves behind special friends: Tonya Anthony Elliott and Tim Green.
