Mrs. Bettie L. Graves, was born in Georgetown County on December 19,1939 to the Late Oliver Davis and Mrs. Mary Doreather Leggette Davis.
She attended Bethel High School in Marion County. Bettiewas united in marriage to the Late John W. Graves and to this union four children were born. Two preceded in death, also one sister and seven brothers.
At an early age, she accepted the Lord, Jesus as her Personal Savior and joined Red Hill Baptist Church, Britton’s Neck, SC in 1976.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and also a member of the adult choir. She was employed at Marvel Lightening and Landmark Resort until her health failed.
Bettie leaves to cherish her fond memories: Darren (Beverly) Graves, Karen (Joseph) Hemingway, stepson, John Graves; three grandsons, Taron(Alecia) Graves, Travis and Taronnie Graves; two great-grandchildren, Kayden and Karmen Graves; two brothers, Frank Davis and James Davis; two sisters, Reather D. Franklin and Mary D. Moore. A special sister-n-law, Elease Graves and Ruth Davis and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
