~ Obituary~
Mrs. Alice Pressley was born on June 16, 1945 and departed this earthly life on November 24, 2019. She was the second child of the late Riston Jones and Alma Brigamon. She was married to the late Samuel Pressley, Jr. and with this union they had seven children.
She attended and graduated from Palmetto High School in Mullins, South Carolina. After high school, she was employed with Marvel Lighting Corporation for 30 years. In her later life she worked 17 years as a Lobby Attendant with Kingston Plantations of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she was better known as “Mrs. Allice”.
She leaves her cherished memories with, Jacqueline Pressley of Mullins, South Carolina; Teresa (Willie, Sr.) Nelson of Mullins, South Carolina; Riston Pressley of Birmingham, Alabama; Sammy (Kelley) Pressley of Lumberton, North Carolina; Alma (Julius) Phillips of Fredrick, Maryland; Titus (Meki) Pressley of Darlington, South Carolina; Jessica Pressley of Fredrick, Maryland.
Preceding her in death: two sisters: Mrs. Mary Graham and Yvonne Porsha and one brother: Mr. Charlie Williams.
Two brothers: James (Carrie) Jones of Nichols, South Carolina, Randolf (Barbara) Jones of Nichols, South Carolina; three sisters: Rubie (Frank) Grant of Warner Robin’s, Georgia, Patricia (Larry) Leggette of Mullins, South Carolina, Lena Mae (Edward) Ford of Lake View, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law: Mary (Hayward) Reid, Claratta Gore, Mack Authur Leonard; one aunt: Ernestine Waters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
