Alice Pettiford

Obituary

Alice Jean Pettiford was born to the late John Henry Tart and Alice Tart on July 9, 1956. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

She received Christ at an early age under the household of her late parents. For the last twenty-one years, she has been a member of Ellerbee Heights Apostolic Holiness Church under the leadership of her husband, Bishop Solomon Pettiford. She became an ordained Evangelist in the early 1990s where she began to preach the sermons at the family church.  

Alice received her elementary and secondary education graduating in 1975 from Mullins High School. She attended and completed classes in West Palm Beach, FL to pursue her certificate to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Alice leaves to cherish her memories husband, Solomon Pettiford, four children; John Pettiford; Charles Pettiford; La'Toya Young, Sherry Wilder, 3 sisters; Geraldine Jones; Edna White; Daris Moody, 1 brother; Richard Earl McRae, 1 neice; Terry White, 1 nephew; Roosevelt Tat, and 2 close friends; Shawn Ceo; Shannette Ceo, along with a host of relatives and friends that loved her near and dear.
