Ricky Fling

~ The Obituary ~

     Rickey Fling, affectionately known as “Booboo”to many, departed his earthly life on Monday, July 1, 2019 at his home in Zion, South Carolina.

     Rickey was born January 24, 1959 in Marion County, South Carolina to the late Leon and Beulah Mae Fling. He received his education in the Marion County Public School System. He worked for Mullins Tobacco Company for many years after which he worked for Harbor Freights in Dillon, SC for 16 years until his health declined.

     Rickey was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Beulah Mae Fling, three brothers: Leon, Aaron and Adam Fling.

     Rickey leaves many precious memories to his loving wife: Martha Ann Fling of thirty years of the home; two sons: Ricky D. Fling of the home, Donyell (Lesa) of Florence, SC; three grandchildren: Sa’Miya, Kimberly and Jasmine (Jakayla and Madisyn: special friends of the family). Rickey leaves two sisters: Rosie (Jesse) Hannah of Rains, SC and Lillie Ann Rowell of Marion, SC; four brothers: Reverend Monroe (Ruth) Fling of Marion, SC, Reverend John (Vivian) Fling of Florence, SC, Ronnie (Debra) Fling of Mullins, SC and Lenue (Jennette) Fling of Dillon, SC; six brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-laws; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Very special friends: April, Tanisha and Dannie.
