~ The Obituary ~
Onetta Faleen McLeanentered into this world on January 25, 1945. She was one of three children born to the late Donnie Bell Long. Her name was called and she answered “Yes Lord, I am Ready” on March 3, 2019 in her home that she shared with cousin and guardian Valentina Reaves Conlton of Mullins, South Carolina.
She was educated in the Mullins School System and attended the Community Adult Center in Marion, South Carolina.
She was adopted as a baby by her grandparents, the late Don and Mary McLean where she was raised with God and love. She later moved into the loving home and care of the late Mary E. Reaves.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; one sister: Mary Alice Long of Mullins, SC; one brother: Ernest Lee Long of Winston Salem, NC; one nephew: Joseph Anthony Ray of Mullins, SC; seven adopted sisters: Emma R. Staggers, Martha Ray Reaves of Mullins, Willie Belle Rabb of Walterboro, SC, Charlotte (Floyd) Harvey, Mary Lee Clark of Winston Salem, NC, Carolyn Bethea, Maryland Maxwell of West Palm Beach, FL and a host of other relatives and friends.
You will truly be remembered by your favorite phrase…”Give me some money”.
