A time to be born…

     Leon E. Brunsonwas born to the late Leon and Palmer Legette Brunson on April 30, 1041 in Marion County.

A time to Learn...

      Leon graduated from Palmetto High School in Mullins, South Carolina in 1959 and after graduation he attended Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina. After leaving Morris College he relocated to New York City.

A time for commitment and marriage…

      Leon was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Betty Lewis Brunson. From this union two sons were born Eric E. and Leon T. Brunson.

A time to labor…

      Leon worked at New Your Presbyterian Hospital in New York for many years until he retired. After retirement he returned to Mullins, South Carolina.

A time to be remembered…

      Leon leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Eric E. (Sharon) Brunson of Irmo, SC; Leon T. (Karen) Brunson of Matthews, NC; three granddaughters: Devon, Alexis and Erin Brunson; five sisters: Stella (John) Hughes of Mullins, SC, Vallie B. Jones of Washington, DC, Ernestine Vereen of Augusta, GA , Thalia Boatwright of Mullins, SC, Keletta (Earnest) McGaney of Augusta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
