Jason M. Thompson

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the futher, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, wil be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Jason Monta Thompson was born on October 4, 1981 to Angela Thompson Abraham and the late James Coleman in Mullins, South Carolina. He was raised in the small but sweet town of Lake View by his loving step-father, the late Robert Abraham.

Jason was educated in Dillon School District One. He attended Lake View High School where he played JV football. After high school, Jason worked for Carpostan in Lake View, South Carolina. Soon after working, his health began to decline and his devoted sister, Sheana Thompson, took the responsibility to make sure he was well taken care of and happy.

He truly enjoyed watching football, listening to music and spending time with family, friends and all his J-Rock Crew. Jason’s kind spirit and beautiful smile will sadly be missed by all his family and friends. Jason was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Alonzo Brigman.

Jason leaves to cherish fond memories: a loving mother, Angela “Honey Bee” Abraham; three devoted sisters: Sheana Thompson, Meagan Thompson and Christina Johnson; three dedicated brothers: Tony Reaves, Fred Johnson and Tyshawn Johnson; three special nephews: Stephon Brigman, Tibias Bethea and Alonzo Hamilton and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special memories with Brandy Nixon, Vernon Henburg, the Lake View, Hilltop, and Ford-town Crews.
