James Crawford

~ Obituary ~ 

     James Crawford, son of the late Edward and Clara Crawford was born on January 20, 1959 in Mullins, South Carolina. He departed this life on December 9, 2016 in McLeod Hospital.

     James attended Monroe University of New York City in 1986 where he received his High School Equivalency Diploma and Associate Degree in Accounting. He worked at HSBC Bank in New York for over 20 years.

     James had a love for growing flowers. He was a true friend and would lend a helping hand to those in need.

     James was baptized in Jesus Name at an early age and he tarried for the gift of the Holy Ghost in Yonkers, New York.

     He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories his five brothers: Edward Crawford of Columbia, SC, Archie (Jeanette) Crawford of Mullins, SC, Willie (Delores) Crawford of Philadelphia, PA, Tom (Melba) Crawford of Charlotte, NC and Curtis (Mercy) Crawford of Charlotte, NC; three sisters: Mary Alice Crawford of Mullins, SC, Helen (Chester) Lee of Mullins, SC and Thelma Crawford of Mullins, SC; special cousins, Alberta Johnson and Sandra Wilson of Bronx, NY; special friends: William Barker of Bronx, NY, James Warren of Bronx, NY and Ronnie Quick of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
