~ The Obituary ~

Barbara D. Worley was born June 1, 1954 in Mullins, South Carolina to the late Samuel Earl Davis, Sr. and the late Mattie Greene Davis.

Barbara D. Worley entered into eternal rest to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at home.

Barbara married her forever friend Olanda Worley, on December 27, 1971. To their union came one son: Rashaun N. Worley and two daughters: Yolanda Worley-Holman (Romayne) and Tuneshia N. Worley; one stepson: William E. Miller; four grandsons: Romahd Holman, Rochaud Holman, Jailen Holman and Julian Holman; one great grandson: Romahd Holman, Jr. (Nino); one sister: Carolyn Coakley (Perry); one surviving brother: Willie Davis; two brothers preceded her in death: James Davis and Samuel Earl Davis, Jr.; eight sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; a special niece: Ashley M. Coakley.

Barbara committed her life to Christ at an early age. A warrior for Christ she was indeed. She was a devout member of Miracle Revival Deliverance Church in Rivera Beach, Florida for many years before joining Orthodox Primitive Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida until her illness and relocating back to Florence, South Carolina.

Barbara was a devoted mother, wife and friend. She had a sweet, humble and infectious spirit that touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved to shop, look good and smell as sweet as a rose. She will be sorely missed, yet we look forward to the day we see her again.
