Cynthia Faye Reaves Legette, affectionately known as “Wimpy” was born on February 23, 1959 to Evelyn Reaves and the late Buddy Gilchrist.  She departed this earthly life on

Saturday, June 16, 2018 at McLeod Hospital, Dillon, South Carolina.

She attended the Marion County public schools in Mullins, South Carolina.

Cynthia was a homemaker and work as a home health aide for many years.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her loving memories ~ her companion of thirty years: Andrew McClain; six children: Terrilynn Legette, Julius Legette, Nakia Legette, Cedric Legette, Ashley Legette and Andrew Legette; her mother: Evelyn Brantley; her step-father: Rev. Sam Brantley; sister: Evelina Brantley (Frank) Bennett of Marion, SC; brother: Samuel (Deborah) Brantley of NJ; nine grandchildren: Kyra Legette, Taraji Legette, Jaylen Legette, Malik Gutierrez, Jakobe Gutierrez, Dewayne Vasser, Timothy Frazier Jr., Jakera Legette, Zoey Platt; one uncle: Bobby Reaves; brother-n-law and sister-n-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
