      Willie Jane Johnson Carthens entered into rest peacefully at home on Sunday, March 12, 2017.   

      She was the daughter of the late Lucille and Willie Johnson. She was born in Fork, South Carolina on October 24, 1937.

      Willie Jane was educated in Dillon County Public School System. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member.

      She leaves to cherish her memories: Taylor Carthens, Bronx, NY; one aunt: Mollie Caneary, Brooklyn, NY; and many adopted children and a host of cousins and friends.
