Susie Cooper

~ The Obituary ~

     Mrs. Suzie Carolyn Cooper was born on June 9, 1940 to the late William and Pearl Alford, entered into eternal life on September 5, 2017.

     She attended the public schools in Mullins, South Carolina. Suzie was joined in Holy Matrimony for 52 years to the late Sam William Cooper, Sr.

     She was employed by Mullins Leaf and Marvel Lighting Company.

     Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death: Shirley Smith, Willa Dean Crawford, Annie Ruth Gause and Willie Alford.

     She leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters and one son: Lennora (Nathaniel) Williams, Arnetha Cooper, Charlene (Joe) Leggette, Stephanie Ann Cooper, Minnie Pearl Alford, all of Mullins, SC and Sam (Nellie) Cooper of Topeka, KS; four sisters: Gladys McBride and Pauline Campbell of Mullins, SC, Marion Davis of Marion, SC and Thelma Cross of New Jersey; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren; a very special granddaughter: Lateesha Cooper; two special grandsons: Michael Cooper and Phillip Cooper of the home, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers-in-law.
