~ The Obituary ~
Mrs. Sirenia Earlene Graves also known as “Kitty”, the daughter of the late Raymond and Daisy Graves was born on July 25, 1945 in Marion County, South Carolina. She departed this life on November 29, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House.
She attended and graduated from Bethel High School. She was employed at SoPacko, Russell Stovers and as a substitute teacher.
She was a loving and caring person. Mrs. Sirenia joined Bethel AME Church and accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Senior Connection and a member of Hettie’s Chapter #314 OES.
Preceding her in death; one brother: Leroy Graves; three sisters: Eloise Scott, Roenia Graves, Mamie Graves; one son: Eric Graves.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband of 47 years, Harry Graves of the home; three daughters: Adah Graves and Harriet Graves both of Gresham, SC and Erica Graves of Norfolk, VA; one son: Bryan Graves of Gresham, SC; two grandchildren: Tyrek Robinson and A’shiya Graves both of Gresham, SC; one brother: William Graves of Boston, MA; three sisters-in-law; Anna Jane (Frank) Witherspoon of McClellanville, SC, Bobby Jean (John) Eaddy of Hemingway, SC; Roberta Graves of Britton’s Neck, SC; one brother-in-law: Paul Scott of Conway, SC; two aunts: Elease Graves and Betty Graves both of Britton’s Neck, SC; special friends: Hattie Ruth Reddick, Dorothy Brunson, Isaac Hemingway and Woodrow Wilson and a host of special nieces, nephews and cousins.
