On Thursday, August 25, 2016, God saw fit to call his servant Sandra Lee Frieson home to eternal glory. Sandra was the daughter of Edna Lee Smith and the late Eugene Hawkins. She was born March 2, 1957 in Jamaica Queens, New York. Sandra attended the public schools of Mullins, SC graduating in 1975.
As a child, she attended Mount Carmel Baptist Church. After leaving Mullins, Sandra attended various churches where she lived, and upon her home going she was an Elder of Dover’s House of Prayer in Dover, Delaware receiving her ordination in 2015. Sandra was employed at Queen Hospital in Queens, New York as an Executive Assistant, and recently employed at Independence Prosthetics and Orthodontist Inc. as an Administrative Assistant.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories a son: Paul (Jamie) Frieson of Crestview, FL; a daughter: Candice Frieson of Wilmington Delaware, her Mother: Edna Lee Smith of Mullins, SC, one Granddaughter: Natalie Frieson; 5 Uncles: Willie (Winnie) McClain, Roosevelt (Leola) McClain, Albert (Betty) McClain, Andrew (Cynthia) McClain all of Mullins, and Charles McClain of Asheville, NC. Also mourning her past and celebrating fond memories are two aunts: Rev. Elizabeth Swinton and Gracie Davis of Mullins; one great-uncle: Jesse Johnson of Latta, SC and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
